Covid-19 Policies and Procedures
As of Friday, July 17 and pertaining to guidelines set by HPPH (Huron Perth Public Health), we will be instituting the following:
No entry into the store without a proper face covering unless under the age of two years.
Anyone with breathing problems who is exempt from wearing a mask is required to wear a face shield. No exceptions.
If you arrive without the necessary face covering we have a limited supply available that we may provide for the first while. After that they will be available for purchase for a nominal fee.
All customers must wear gloves (provided) upon entering and prior to handling a cart or basket or any merchandise. The gloves must be disposed of in the garbage bin at the exit door.
Shopping carts and baskets will be sanitized after each use.
Social distancing of 2 meters is recommended.
You may be refused entry if you have been out the country within the last two weeks, if you have a fever or cough, or if you have been in close contact with anyone that has the Covid-19 virus.
What is considered a mask or face covering?
A face covering means a medical or non-medical mask or other face coverings such as a bandana, a scarf or cloth. The face covering must cover a person’s nose, mouth and chin without gaping.
Face shields are not acceptable forms of a face covering for the purpose of these instructions because they are not as effective for source protection. However, they may be used in situations where an individual is unable to use any other type of face covering.
Let’s kick Covid-19 to the curb!
As part of these Public Health Instructions, the Medical Officer of Health encourages everyone to be kind, patient, and respectful to one another. Navigating this pandemic is our individual and our shared responsibility. These policies count on everyone’s best intentions.
